California Earthquake Claims Handling Accreditation Certificate
PLRB will again offer a California earthquake claims handling accreditation track. Attendees who attend all three earthquake sessions (0445, 0455, and 0465) at the Claims Conference will be awarded a free California Earthquake Claims Handling Accreditation certificate by highly-respected Vale Training Solutions. This accreditation is good for three years and should be accepted by any insurance company that you might handle earthquake claims for. There are stiff consequences for insurance companies who use un-accredited earthquake adjusters on California earthquake claims.
In these three classes, you will learn how to:
- differentiate between new and old earthquake damage;
- how to use public domain guidelines that help you decide when to patch and paint or remove and replace;
- when to get a technical expert like an engineer involved and what a complete engineer's report should include;
- how to apply earthquake coverage and deductibles.
- review California Department of Insurance regulations
This accreditation is a must-have for any adjuster who plans to
someday handle earthquake claims in California.
