Large Loss Conference

The PLRB/LIRB 2012 Large Loss Conference will be held October 29 - 31 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Hotel in Washington, DC. Attendees are a very sophisticated and experienced audience of property and casualty claim professionals, looking for new and better ways of adjusting losses of $100,000 and more. It is important to aim high with our content and delivery!

Please submit a proposal within the personal lines/property, commercial lines/property, or casualty claim tracks. Your submission should include a clear title, 3-5 key issues of the claim, a very rough outline, summary of the claim, and the presenters with their titles and company names. It is best if there is only one person from any particular company, per session. You may submit multiple proposals. For a sample proposal, please visit here.

The claims adjuster/manager presenter should spearhead each session. Other experts will take part and provide technical support as they played an important role in a particular claim. We expect the presentation to follow the life and challenges of a particular “virtual” claim. Focus on the issues faced during the initial, the middle, and the closing portion of the claim. Each session is two hours in length. Sessions are delivered twice at the Large Loss Conference.

The Large Loss Planning Committee reviews all presenter submissions and helps select the very best topics for our 2012 Conference.

Submissions are due by December 16, 2011. Announcements of selected topics and presenters will come in early March.
